What should a new client know about working with you?

Whether you have done therapy before, are returning after a long break, or are a seasoned client, I welcome you into this space! I have worked extensively with clients navigating a stressful adjustment period (ex: new job, grad school); struggling with motivation; experiencing relationship difficulties (both romantic and nonromantic); and struggling with self-esteem and sense of self. My clients are ready to challenge themselves and prepared to hold themselves accountable for the difficulties that come with accomplishing lasting change. Ultimately, they truly want to better understand themselves and their relationship to others.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Welcome! I know that therapy can feel intimidating and daunting. But my goal is to build a connection that feels authentic and natural to you, so you feel comfortable being open about who you are and what you want to achieve. In our sessions, you’ll find a warm inviting space where I’ll be honest and hold you accountable to your goals. I aim to cultivate a healthy sense of challenge that encourages you to work toward meaningful change. Together, we’ll work collaboratively to discover the solutions and strengths that already exist within you– and also try some new skills along the way. My hope is that you’ll feel grounded and supported as we tackle life’s difficulties as a team. Even if you’re unsure about therapy, I encourage you to reach out and book a free consultation call to see if we’re a good fit! Remember, you don’t have to do it all alone. Please note: Any changes to this appointment — including cancellations or rescheduling — must be made directly through your Zocdoc patient account.
