Getting to know Dominika Ventucci

My approach is intuitive, depth-oriented, and insight-driven. I work with clients who are ready to explore themselves on a deeper level-who are open to examining their beliefs, emotions, and behaviors with honesty and curiosity. I do not see myself as the "healer" but rather as a guide, helping you uncover the wisdom and resilience that already exist within you. I hold a Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois, Chicago, which informs my practice with a strong foundation in evidence-based methods and compassionate care. Sessions with me are dynamic, engaging, and thought-provoking. I use deep inquiry, reflection, and intuitive insight to help you unlock new perspectives and anchor them into your daily life. I am especially drawn to working with clients who are committed to personal growth, who are willing to engage with discomfort for the sake of deeper healing, and who find value in applying new insights to their lived experiences. If you're looking for a space where you can be deeply seen, heard, and guided-not just to feel better, but to truly understand yourself and grow-then I am here to walk alongside you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often tell me they feel truly seen and supported in our work together. I take a warm, engaged approach—you won’t just be talking into the void. I’ll ask thoughtful questions, reflect back insights, and gently guide you toward the root causes of your struggles. From there, we work together to create tools and shifts that are meaningful and manageable. Therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some sessions may feel more exploratory and insight-driven, while others might focus on concrete strategies for managing stress, improving relationships, or changing unhelpful thought patterns. I aim to meet you wherever you are, and walk beside you—not ahead of you or behind you. Because I’ve walked this path myself, I’m not just offering theories—I’m offering practices that have been tested through my own trial and error. That means I know where people tend to get stuck, and I know how to help you move through those moments with clarity and confidence.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first few sessions, we’ll get to know each other and begin mapping out the challenges you’re facing and what you’d like to shift or heal. We’ll explore what’s been going on in your inner world—your thoughts, feelings, patterns, and past experiences—through a lens of curiosity and compassion, not judgment. As we continue, I’ll tailor the work to your pace and preferences. This might include mindfulness practices to calm anxiety, somatic tools to reconnect with your body, or guided parts work to understand and heal the deeper emotional layers of your struggles. I also offer practical strategies when needed, such as boundary setting, communication skills, and ways to navigate overwhelm or burnout. Throughout, my goal is to help you reconnect with your inner strength, feel more empowered in your life, and develop a sense of self-trust that lasts long after therapy ends.

Dee is highly recommended! She is an exquisite therapist that helped me work through my childhood traumas. She's attentive and understanding. Provided me with the space I needed to full be myself spirituality and personally without judgement.
Dee always makes me feel seen and safe. I am able to look and feel hard things that I need to move forward into self love. That’s my goal to love myself and I have come so far with her help. She has many different tools she has taught me that have worked really well. I don’t need to see Anyone else she seems to cover all my needs for my personal transformation. she always seems to know the right thing to say to shift perspective or to encourage me to dig deeper.
She has a way with her words and demeanor that is inviting and calming. I come with all things in a panic and she helps me sort through it all. Then I leave the session with tools to cope with any triggers that might come up again in the future.
Dee is such a caring professional who patiently listens to everything you have to say before she can give you the best tool to work with. I was deeply worried over family issues (past and present) so we focused on that during our session. Although my case is a long-standing healing process, Dee actually found a way for me to support myself in all the baby steps I’ve been taking, and she helped me notice how well I’m currently doing and honour that. Such a gentle push I didn’t know I was needing. Thank you Dee! I totally recommend!!
