What should a new client know about working with you?

I specialize in grief and trauma therapy, helping individuals process loss, navigate emotional wounds, and reclaim a sense of resilience and healing. I also have extensive experience supporting behavioral and intellectual disorders. I tailor my approach to meet each client's unique needs, using evidence-based techniques to foster growth, emotional regulation and overall well-being. Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns. My practice is culturally sensitive, ensuring that each person’s background and experiences are honored in the therapeutic process. Narrative Therapy allows clients to reshape their personal stories, fostering empowerment and healing. For children, I utilize Play Therapy to support emotional expression in a developmentally appropriate way. My Strength-Based approach focuses on identifying and building upon existing resilience, while Trauma-Focused techniques provide a safe space to process past experiences and move forward with confidence."

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe therapy is a collaborative journey tailored to your unique needs. Our first session will focus on getting to know you — your story, experiences, and goals. Together, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and identify areas you'd like to grow and heal. In ongoing sessions, I use a supportive, strengths-based approach, often incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused techniques, and other evidence-based practices. Whether we’re processing difficult emotions, building coping strategies, or exploring patterns in your thoughts and behaviors, sessions are a space where you can feel heard, validated, and empowered. For children, I may use play therapy techniques to encourage expression in a developmentally appropriate way. For all clients, I aim to create a safe, compassionate environment where healing and resilience can thrive. My goal is to walk alongside you on your path to growth — celebrating progress, navigating challenges, and supporting you every step of the way.
