GA
I'm Dominique Lee, a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides warm, confidential, and evidence-based therapy for adults navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, and life transitions. I understand that seeking therapy isn't always easy. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or simply know that something needs to change. My goal is to create a judgment-free space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing and feel supported as we work toward meaningful change. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to you. Together, we'll explore what's contributing to your current challenges, identify your goals, and develop strategies you can use both inside and outside of therapy. I especially enjoy working with professionals and adults navigating demanding seasons of life, career changes, relationship changes, boundaries, anxiety, and burnout. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You have to be willing to take the first step.

Getting to know Dominique Lee

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. Our first session will allow us to discuss what brings you to therapy, understand your goals and history, and determine which support will be most helpful. I believe therapy should be a space where you can be honest without judgment. We will work together to develop an approach that fits your needs, using evidence-based strategies while also considering your real-life circumstances. You can expect more than simply talking about what's happening. We'll work toward practical tools and strategies you can apply between sessions to support meaningful, lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another, discuss what brings you to therapy, review relevant history, and identify what you'd like to work toward. We'll also begin developing goals for treatment together. In ongoing sessions, we'll check in on how things have been since our last session, explore current concerns and patterns, and work through challenges that may be affecting your emotional well-being. Depending on your goals, sessions may include therapeutic conversation, reflection, skill-building, and evidence-based interventions. I take a collaborative approach, so therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. We'll regularly evaluate what's working, make adjustments when needed, and focus on practical strategies you can apply in your everyday life. My goal is for you to leave sessions with greater clarity, increased self-awareness, and tools you can use beyond the therapy room.
