What should a new client know about working with you?

Individual sessions are fifty minutes of time that is wholly and entirely yours. We might spend it in conversation, in silence, in careful attention to a feeling that hasn’t yet found language, often some combination of all three. The thread connecting every session is a commitment to genuine contact: I am not here to only evaluate you or to hand you a program, but to sit with you in whatever is actually present and help you find your way through it. People come to counseling for many reasons, anxiety, grief, or a sense of being stuck, and all of them are welcome here. Sessions are offered in person in Fairfield, CT, and via telehealth throughout Connecticut.
