Hi there, I'm Donnie. If our world ever needs to have someone to talk with, it is now! For you, it may have been a challenge to even look for a therapist, but you did it. If you have made it this far, then that means that you have the desire to make a change within your life. This is a major step for you! I would be honored to walk with you through the healing process of your heart and mind, and together we can discover the next steps to take to get you to where you want to be. I graduated from Missouri Baptist University in 2008 with a Master’s Degree in Art in Counseling. I am now a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has a desire to help people reach their fullest potential in any way that I can. I have worked with people of all ages. I have worked at a children’s home helping encourage young teens; I have worked with a variety of grade school students throughout the St. Louis region, and also worked at a drug treatment facility to help addicts on their road to recovery. With almost a decade of experience working with various ages and challenges, I can attest to the fact that people need someone who cares in their corner. I work with individuals ranging from middle school age to those who have been out of school for a long time. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help people process what they have been through from a different perspective. Life is hard, challenging, lonely, and sometimes downright difficult…but when you have someone who truly cares and truly listens, the pain can be divided; it can make this hard life seem somewhat more bearable.
