Psychotherapist

I’ve always been interested in understanding people — how life experiences, relationships, stress, and challenges shape the way we cope and move through the world. Over time, I realized I found a lot of meaning in helping people work through obstacles, gain perspective, and feel less stuck in the things weighing them down. I know it can be hard to ask for support, especially when you’ve been trying to manage everything on your own. I want clients to feel comfortable being honest about what they’re facing while also working together to find practical, concrete solutions that help life feel more manageable and move them toward meaningful, lasting change. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and my Master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical focus from Capella University. Over the past 14 years, I have worked with children, teens, adults, couples, and families across in-home, outpatient, and telehealth settings. I’ve supported people through some of the most difficult periods of their lives, including severe anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, family conflict, crisis situations, and overwhelming life stress. Working in a variety of settings and with diverse client needs has taught me how to meet people where they are, adapt to challenging situations, and help clients find realistic ways to move forward. It was here I also developed a love for baseball, an appreciation of nature, and a deep curiosity about the inner workings of the human mind. I see therapy as a place to be real about what’s not working and figure out what needs to change. Some clients come in feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected in relationships, overwhelmed by responsibilities, or frustrated by patterns they can’t seem to break.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider's self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan's benefits.
