I graduated from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, with a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology in 1993. Since then, I have been licensed as a mental health counselor (LMHC) since 1996 and as an alcohol and drug counselor (LADC I) since 2004. With over 25 years of experience in the mental health field, I've worked with adults in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient care, community mental health clinics, hospital psychiatric units, and correctional facilities. My primary focus is on helping adults dealing with depression, anxiety, substance use, and past trauma. My approach to therapy is person-centered and trauma-informed, incorporating cognitive behavioral and mindfulness-based strategies. I believe in empowering you to manage your symptoms effectively and make healthy, positive, and sustainable changes in your life.
