Hello, I'm Donna. I welcome the opportunity to talk with you about how we can work together to help you have a more meaningful and fulfilling life. With over 30 years of experience as a clinical social worker, I've had the privilege of working with individuals and couples on a wide range of issues. My journey has taken me through various roles, including directing substance abuse and mental health treatment programs. My particular areas of clinical focus include addiction, anxiety and panic attacks, depression, trauma, PTSD, and life and career transitions. I am currently licensed as a clinical social worker in Maryland, D.C., Georgia, and Colorado. My therapeutic style is engaging and solution-focused. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach combines cognitive behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic counseling. Rather than just talking about problems, I work collaboratively with my clients to address issues and make positive changes in their lives. Throughout my career, I've seen people make dramatic positive changes as they finally addressed problems that had been holding them back. I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to change their lives for the better, no matter how difficult their circumstances may seem. Outside of my professional life, I am deeply committed to continuous learning and growth, both personally and professionally.
