I believe that each person's journey is unique, which is why I take a solution-focused, client-centered approach tailored to your individual needs. I often use CBT to help you shift your perspective and "unlearn" patterns of behavior that may be holding you back. With my background in health and wellness coaching, family resources, and a Master's in Counseling from the University of Phoenix, I offer a holistic view of personal growth. My aim is to create a space where you feel comfortable, heard, and supported as you work toward your goals. Please note, I am not a psychiatrist and do not prescribe medication. I work with clients who are ready to make meaningful changes in their lives—whether it's older teens, young adults, or women navigating transitions like menopause or grief. My clients are often seeking to build mental fitness and learn new skills to leave behind what no longer serves them. My approach is client-centered, meaning that our work together will be based on your unique needs and goals. I’m kind but direct, helping you identify strengths you may not have noticed before, and providing the tools to help you move forward with confidence. Our work will focus on increasing self-awareness, challenging old narratives, and building a life that reflects who you truly are. What is your typical process for working with clients?

When we begin our sessions, I focus on creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be yourself. I like to start with a check-in, where you can share what feels most important in the moment. From there, we’ll work together to set the tone for the session, whether it’s addressing a particular concern, exploring emotions, or brainstorming solutions. I pull from solution-based counseling and CBT, helping you to shift your thinking and discover new approaches to life’s challenges. I aim to guide you in a way that empowers you to feel more in control of your journey, always with an emphasis on compassion and trust. Our work will be tailored to you, and you’ll have the freedom to lead the way in what we explore. Let me know if you'd like any tweaks or adjustments!
