As a two-time transplant survivor, I understand firsthand how serious medical experiences can impact emotional well-being, relationships, identity, and faith. My lived experience gives me a unique perspective on the emotional, practical, and spiritual challenges that often accompany significant health conditions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client‚ unique needs. I utilize evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and have completed foundational EMDR training while continuing advanced training and consultation in EMDR to support clients recovering from trauma. My master's degree in Clinical Rehabilitation provided specialized training in helping individuals adjust to medical conditions, disabilities, life-changing diagnoses, and other significant challenges. I have a particular interest in working with individuals facing medical challenges, transplant recipients, caregivers, and those adjusting to life after significant health events. For clients who desire it, I also offer Christian faith-integrated counseling, providing space to explore spiritual questions, strengthen faith, and incorporate biblical principles into the therapeutic process. My goal is to help clients build resilience, develop effective coping skills, and move forward with renewed hope, healing, and confidence.
