Donna Marino, LCSW graduated from the New York University School of Social Work in 1992. Her extensive clinical training and experience include clinical work in psychiatric hospitals, psychiatric triage, and an outpatient mental health program. Donna has been the Director of Clinical Services in a school for special needs, and also developed a thriving private practice providing individual, family, and marital/couple therapy to the adolescent, adult, and senior populations. Donna is dedicated to helping clients achieve health, personal growth, self empowerment, and symptom reduction within a safe, comfortable, and compassionate therapeutic setting. Donna enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, reading, learning, teaching, movies, cultural experiences, spirituality, and sharing quality time with family, friends, and her little dog, Chloe.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Clients can expect professional and ethical active participation, therapeutic feedback, support, and overall dedication to the treatment process. Therapist and client embark on a therapeutic partnership with a common goal of achieving treatment objectives identified, and improve the clients ability to manage challenges and stressors using effective coping skills. The renowned Psychiatrist and Therapist Irvin D. Yalom, M.D. described the therapeutic relationship as “fellow travelers.”

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
