Getting to know Donna Russell
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 13 years of experience in the social work field. I have had the pleasure of partnering with a diverse range of individuals to empower them throughout their journeys. My experience includes working with school-age children, adolescents, teenagers, young adults, pregnant and parenting women, as well as individuals facing challenges related to substance use and trauma.

Whether you are here to heal from trauma, gain or regain control, or seek to integrate peace and tranquility into your life, I encourage you to take the next step. You have made it this far, and I would love the opportunity to partner with you on your journey. I will walk beside you using Strengths-Based, Trauma-Informed, and Solution-Focused approaches, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness techniques. Together, we will empower you to set your own pace, develop personal goals, and learn coping skills to face, manage, and navigate life's challenges.
As someone who has survived trauma, I am also on a continuous healing journey. I have taken my challenges further by pursuing higher education, earning my Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Louisville in 2014. I continued my quest by working toward full therapy licensure to professionally share my knowledge with others.
I provide a non-judgmental, safe, therapeutic space to begin your healing process. Offering both traditional and non-traditional hours, I am available to meet with you via telehealth at a time convenient for you, giving you options to take well-deserved time to focus on your mental well-being.
