The provider is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. Hi! My name is Donna Vo Sotomayor. I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern based in the Orlando area. I provide sessions in person and via telehealth throughout Florida. I have immediate availability and offer sessions on Saturdays as well. I work with Gen Z and Millennials experiencing relational concerns, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. I provide therapy to individuals and couples.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is systemic. As a relational therapist, I believe our concerns are bigger than us an individuals and often involve the context around us. In therapy, I aim to understand you within your context and provide support for the whole picture. My approach is also warm and collaborative. It is my goal to support you in a way that is most effective to your needs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process for working with clients begins with a free 15 minute consultation, or going straight into the initial appointment. During the initial appointment, I will review practice policies and limits of confidentiality with clients. I will also begin to gather information and help you come up with goals for treatment. From there, we will meet weekly or biweekly and work towards those goals as we see fit.
