In life, we all encounter struggles that we need help with. Whether it be low self-esteem, anxiety, life transitions, or other daily stressors, I can assist you in creating a more productive and happier lifestyle while improving your mental, emotional, and physical health. Together, we will build a strong therapeutic relationship through a warm, nurturing, and non-judgmental approach. My focus is person-centered and strength-based to help clients tailor their treatment to their specific needs and become a better version of themselves.
I hold a Master's in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree from Adelphi University, which have equipped me with the skills and knowledge to support you effectively on your journey to wellness.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience treating individuals with a range of mental health conditions. My experience includes training in addiction, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting, grief and loss and every day life stressors.
My focus is to help clients identify their goals and work with them to become a better version of themselves. My approach is person-centered and strength-based and geared to assist clients tailor their treatment to their specific needs. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to help clients best meet their needs and concerns.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
In our sessions I strive to create a warm, nurturing environment, where a client can feel comfortable exploring their concerns without feeling judged. I work collaboratively with my clients to help them get their desired results and am always working to support their journey.

Donna is so attentive to the needs of the patient. She has made a tremendous impact on my teen daughter. My daughter is finding her voice and has learned how to cope with different situations. She has given her the tools to deal with daily situations. It’s made a huge difference in our household. Donna’s work is so important and truly appreciated. I highly recommend.

I am so fortunate to have Donna as my therapist. She gets me, she knows the way I think and she always gives me a new path to try out. I'm not always right, shockingly. I went away on a business trip and I reached out to see if she had time for a zoom meeting that was not planned. Of course she did and she was a great support. I respect her tremendously, her knowledge and caring ways. She is my person.
