I'm Dorian, an LCSW (licensed clinical social worker) from Florida with 11 years of experience in my field. Life can get complicated, and I’m here to help you sort through it in a way that feels natural, real, and most importantly - doable. I like to keep things down-to-earth, using a mix of understanding and a bit of humor to make the process comfortable. We’ll work together on what matters to you, at your own pace. I can promise authenticity in our sessions and am open to sharing when it's helpful. I was born an empath with a sensitive soul, and I can’t shake the suspicion that in addition to sugar and spice, I got a sprinkle of ADD and a pinch of anxiety. While not always quite convenient (for things like... school, work, *chores!*), I do believe that this familiarity helps me in this therapist role. Silver linings! Also, I suppose it is only fair to disclose that I do have another secret weapon: a most trusted, capable, and intuitive peer and associate. His name is Popeye, and notably, he is a terrier of the Boston variety. And yes, he too is bound by HIPAW (sorry) I know how tricky it can get out there and I bet that with our powers combined, we can figure this out.
