What should a new client know about working with you?

I have a unique set of skills gained over the past four years working as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team which gives me the ability to help with a wide range of issues and struggles. I am trained in EMDR and I utilize an integrated approach primarily incorporating skills from CBT, DBT, and Person-Centered therapy. Life comes with many challenges and seeking help can feel overwhelming, frightening and sometimes shameful. What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first session, we will explore what approaches will best suite your individual needs. I focus on bringing an integrative approach unique to each client. I enjoy utilizing Person Centered and CBT based approaches to begin with each client. For PTSD and Trauma clients, I utilize EMDR mixed with elements of talk therapy. I want to work collaboratively with each person to create the unique and targeted treatment plan that fits with the goals created together.
