Getting to know Dorothea Rudolf

We are not in network with Medicaid or Medicare. We do not prescribe medication, complete evaluations, assessments, disability forms, or diagnostic testing. Please know your copay according to your insurance plan before scheduling an appointment. Upload your insurance card and consent forms at the time you schedule. Follow-up therapy availability with Darcie is Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM, Wednesday at 7:30 PM, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. I hold my Master's in Counseling Psychology from Arcadia University and certificates in Trauma and PTSD Management. I'm proud to be a licensed professional counselor at New Beginnings Virtual Counseling LLC. I have passionately enjoyed working in the mental health field for over 11 years, supporting teens and adults through substance use, grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and Autism. Through my personal grief journey, I understand that loss, in its various forms, is not something you just ?get over.? It changes you. Healing begins with support, help, time, and space to actively grieve and nurture your well-being. I'm here to help.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I integrate a strengths-based approach, cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, somatic therapy, and the "RESPECTFUL" model to treat you as the whole, multidimensional person you are. (Religious/spiritual; Economic; Sexual identity; Psychological maturity; Ethnic/racial; Chronological developmental challenges; Trauma & threats to wellbeing; Family background; Unique physical characteristics; Location of residence). This allows me to focus on all aspects of your identity as we build rapport and accomplish your goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

“Hope grows, if you pay attention to it.” Mental health and wellbeing need to be nurtured, cultivated, and sustained. Everyone deserves help without feeling small or ashamed to reach for it when we need it most. Life, as hard as it can be, doesn’t have to stay that way. Collaboratively, we'll heal from pain, sorrow, anxiety, anger, guilt, and challenging emotions. Then we'll respond intentionally, what I call "untangling the knots" that we can often find ourselves in . We all have the capacity to untangle our knots to move forward.
