Getting to know Dorothy Milton

It is said that there's things in life that choose us. Providing clinical therapy was not my first choice, but it chose me and its been rewarding. I've been in private practice for 10+ years. I have experience working in substance abuse, multicultural and religious/spiritual populations (ministers, chaplains, Clinical Pastoral Education Students). My work with clients in life-transitions, homelessness or job transitions, have afforded me the knowledge and skills that help clients to see through new eyes and to think differently. I enjoy helping others, people watching, quiet places, and family time. Along the journey of life, there are times when our path arrives at crossroads and we aren't sure in which direction we should turn. Compassionate and non-judgmental, I am available to walk with you on your journey and explore the options that are available to you.
