Hello and welcome! I'm Dotty, and I'm here to laugh, cry, learn, and process with you through life's ups and downs. Have you ever felt stuck in a rut and wished for an accountability partner to help guide you out? Or maybe you've felt misunderstood or not accepted by those closest to you? Perhaps you're anxious about making decisions or initiating tasks? Life throws us curveballs, and having professional support from a mental health therapist can make a world of difference. I hold an MSW and am a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. My specialties include addiction, anger management, antisocial behavior, ADHD, autism spectrum support, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, children's and adolescent mental/behavioral health, dissociative disorders, eating disorders, family relationships, grief/bereavement, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, narcissistic personality disorder, PTSD, intimate/romantic relationships, stress, suicidal ideation and self-harming, trauma, anxiety, and depression. In our weekly meetings, we'll proactively chip away at the tasks at hand. I may "prescribe homework" to keep you motivated, offer feedback and new perspectives to help you gain insight, and challenge you to grow in new ways. Booked appt but provider never showed, didn’t call, her notes say she will advise how to connect. Checked email, vm, text nothing. I had booked with someone else for appt Mon 27, they cancelled an hour before appt. No reason and I can’t book with her as she has zero Zocdoc appt. Maybe no longer on Zocdoc I’ve booked with 2 people now and haven’t seen anyone. So far not impressed
