Getting to know Dr Alicia Brengman

Hello! Let me start by saying you should feel proud that you have made it to this point, looking for a therapist and exploring the steps to feeling empowered and content. I thank you for considering me to be a part of your self-exploration, and I would be delighted to work with you. I hold a doctorate in Human and Social Services, a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Washington State University. This educational background allows me to offer a unique viewpoint and understanding. I use my strong foundation to work with each client in a holistic context. Together, we can examine how you exist in the world around you and how to best help you feel confident and successful in your life. I am here for the rough patches, the “I just need someone to talk to” times, and the navigation of traumas both old and new. I can help you develop new skills, hone coping strategies, manage feelings and stress, and support you in moving forward into a healthier, happier place in your life.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My goal after our intake is that you feel a sense of relief and hope that you have made the first step on your journey of wellbeing. I am happy to support you in scheduling a follow up session, or connecting you to the services and support you need in order to be successful.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
