I am honored that you have taken the time to learn more about me and my work. I am a Doctor of Social Work, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and an adjunct professor of Behavioral Health at Herzing University. My academic background includes a Bachelor’s in Psychology, a Master’s in Social Work, and a Doctorate in Social Work. I specialize in trauma and Autism Spectrum Disorder, and I am experienced in addressing a range of mental health concerns, including grief, anxiety, ADHD, depression, and suicidal ideation. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices that are tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. My mission is simple: to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward healing, resilience, and a better quality of life. Working with me means having someone knowledgeable, skillful, and determined to help you achieve your desired goals. I am empathetic and take my clients' feedback to heart. I lead with empathy, drawing on my own life experiences to better understand the challenges my clients face. This personal lens allows me to connect on a deeper, more authentic level—creating a space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I am best positioned to work with children and adolescents from birth through 18 years of age. In my experience, I have found that I am particularly effective in supporting pre-teen and teen boys who are navigating emotional and behavioral challenges. I have a natural ability to connect with them, fostering a strong and supportive therapeutic relationship that encourages growth, resilience, and goal achievement. Although I have great strengths when working with boys, I also have a natural ability to connect with girls. I am warm, comforting, and always have a smile on. I always look forward to our sessions and prepare for them in advance. I am reflective in my practice and take my clients' feedback to heart. If something is not working, it is up to me to find a new pathway to help my client.
