Getting to know Dr. Sally Hanna

I provide holistic, integrative therapy that recognizes the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being, with a particular interest in nutritional psychology. As an Egyptian therapist who has lived in Egypt and speaks fluent Arabic, I offer culturally responsive support for Arab and Muslim clients navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationships, family dynamics, and cultural expectations. My goal is to create a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where each client feels understood and supported.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is warm, collaborative, and straightforward. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients can speak openly while also receiving practical guidance, honest feedback, and strategies they can use in daily life. I take a holistic and integrative approach, considering emotional, physical, nutritional, cultural, and relational factors when developing treatment that reflects each client’s individual needs and goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During the first session, we will discuss your concerns, personal history, current challenges, and goals for therapy. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan and identify the areas you would like to address. Ongoing sessions typically include open conversation, exploration of patterns and emotions, practical coping strategies, and regular review of your progress, with the approach adjusted as your needs and goals evolve.
