Getting to know Drew Ladew

When where you are is not where you want to be, the bridge from ‘here’ to ‘there’ is change. If you’re uncertain of how to navigate the road ahead, my goal is to meet you ‘here’, and find the best collaborative approach to get you to the ‘there’. If you're reading this, you are probably considering the changes you need to make. I have experience on both ends of change; living through it, and helping others through it. Where you are is uncomfortable, change can be uncomfortable, but getting through it can feel amazing, and getting help makes it easier. Our experiences aren't the same, and our change won't be either, but with evidence based approaches, a strong therapeutic relationship, and the willingness to change, I look forward to watching you get to your 'there'.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a Masters of Science in Education (MSEd) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St. Bonaventure University. My work experience has given me a range of opportunities, and I've enjoyed learning from all of them. I work with individuals from late adolescence through adulthood, and have had success working with anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ Issues, issues related to Polyamory/Ethical Non-Monogamy and Kink, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD, trauma, life changes, and more. I believe everyone has the ability to change, to deal with short term or long term issues, or to improve from where you are in life. It can take varied techniques, varied amounts of effort, and the timeline is unique to you and what you're dealing with. I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment, coping skills/resources, and techniques to help you progress.
