I have been a therapist for nearly 10 years. I earned my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Westminster College and my Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. I have worked with several populations and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as my guiding clinical practice. My clinical experience includes substance use, mood disorders, trauma, marriage counseling, serious and persistent mental illness, and supportive therapy. I enjoy good stories regardless of the format they come in, figure drawing and art, and really good laughs. I believe change happens when we find meaningful connections to our behaviors and life choices. While we cannot control what happens in life, we can control how we feel and respond to it.
