What should a new client know about working with you?

I use evidence based techniques and combine proven talk-therapy approaches with mind-body connection techniques and general mindfulness practices. I have knowledge of a wide array of proven techniques and share the method and desired effects of the treatments with you in creating your individualized treatment plan. This way you get to feel knowledgeable and in control of your treatment. I also like to share neuroscience with my clients so they can understand what a technique is doing and why it is effective so they can better understand themselves by the end of treatment.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I typically start with identifying the symptoms and underlying problem. From there I usually help a client to find ways to manage the symptoms so they can get more comfort as we go deeper in therapy. We then identify the underlying concerns that lead to the symptoms and combine symptom management with unpacking the root of the problem to achieve lasting results.
