“Dylan was an excellent therapist who helped me with boundary setting at work. He is my age, which was something I've never experienced with a therapist before. It was certainly helpful to speak with someone I could see myself in. He knows New York City well, which helped him understand where I was coming from. He's also a safe place for a queer person like me. Great guy! ”

Dylan is a wonderful therapist who will make you feel comfortable and welcomed without shying away from telling you what you need to hear. He has done a great job of getting me to reframe how I approach stressful situations, cope with feelings of anxiety, and communicate with the people around me. I highly recommend.
Working with Dylan over the last 10 months has truly been life-changing. Through EMDR and CBT, he’s helped me make breakthroughs I honestly didn’t think were possible. He’s incredibly insightful, candid, and straightforward in a way that always feels supportive. At the same time, he knows exactly when to offer that bit of hand-holding and reassurance to help me keep moving forward. I always leave sessions feeling lighter, clearer, and more capable. I’m so grateful for the impact he’s had on my healing journey and would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone looking for real progress.
Dylan is an incredibly kind and compassionate therapist. He was able to address immediate needs by providing me with short term strategies for my anxiety. As these strategies were highly effective, we’ve transitioned to long term solutions which has had me feeling so much better mentally when it comes to managing stress and anxiety. I highly recommend Dylan!
He spent 10 minutes during my intake explaining his cancellation policy. Then, 18 minutes before my first appointment, he canceled it.

I love Dylan-He’s the best. In the past, I have had trouble speaking my honest truth because it felt too vulnerable, but I never had that problem with him. Very open and welcoming; letting me be open to sharing.
Dylan is a wonderful, thoughtful and intelligent provider. My partner and I have been seeing him for couples therapy for about 6 months and he has helped us immensely. I appreciate his perspective, guidance and humor. He takes an analytical approach to therapy and conducts sessions in a casual and comfortable manner. 10/10 would recommend!
Dylan has been a tremendous resource to me over the past few months as I've adjusted into telehealth therapy. He is friendly and personable, and is able to both listen and hear, which are two completely different things. I appreciate his willingness to keep things light when they need to be and to also dig deeper when it seems like there is something that needs to be explored further. I almost always leave his sessions feeling better than when I entered them. Today, especially, I came in rather agitated, and Dylan was able to help me see the 'simple' answers to what at the time seemed like complex questions. I am looking forward to our relationship continuing in future sessions.
Dylan is a great and personable therapist (and I suppose I should know as I am one myself)! Dylan offers the perfect blend of giving you space to emotionally explore while making sure you keep on track for actually addressing the goal you have. He also has a knack for knowing how and when to challenge thoughts, perspectives, etc. Highly recommend.
I have been working with Dylan for 2 years now and it has been great! He is a very intent listener and has helped me work through how to best manage and reduce my stress and anxiety. As we have continued working together over an extended time, he has been particularly helpful in identifying common themes that cause my anxiety. This has been helpful for addressing my anxiety as a whole rather than just on a case by case basis.
I really enjoy working with Dr. Finkel. He always makes me feel very comfortable during our sessions. I also really enjoy that he focuses on things I can do at home outside of our sessions, to work on the issues that we discuss each week. I have seen a considerable improvement in managing my anxiety and getting better sleep at night.
Dylan has been super great as a therapist. Overtime he's able to grow a tight connection with you and before you know it there's a bond formed on trust and understanding. Sessions are easy and versatile depending on what you feel up to bringing into the meeting. Dylan is extremely respectful while also being honest and logistical when it comes to whatever is going on. Couldn't recommend him enough!
I have seen other professionals and they did not make care as personalized as Dylan. He is receptive to my feedback and helps by validating as well as processing. I feel lucky to have someone that understands what I am struggling with and speaks to me in my language. I do not feel like notes on a page but rather a person who has made a very smart friend who gives great advise. He gives me space to reach conclusions on my own and also is there to assist when I am stuck. I recommend Dylan for anyone that needs to talk things out together rather than just vent. So, if you are willing to put in the work, make the appointment!
