Hi there, I'm Earl! Hello, my name is Earl Villorente. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s in Social Work from San José State University, providing individual therapy via telehealth. My goal is to create a safe space where we can work together to reduce symptoms and promote positive change to help you heal and enjoy a meaningful life. My approach I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to address symptoms by working on unhealthy thinking and behavior patterns—and creating or improving healthy ones. I also use strength-based, client-centered, and solution-focused approaches to help you identify and achieve your goals. I believe everyone has strengths to draw from to make changes. It is my duty to give you the tools and knowledge to be successful in our journey to help you enjoy life to the fullest. My focus I work with teens and adults dealing with grief, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and difficulty managing work, school, and life transitions. Together, we’ll explore why you’re struggling and guide you through it, helping you create healthy thinking and behavior habits to improve your life and relationships. My communication style I am calm, warm, and accepting. I want my clients to feel safe to express themselves freely so they are truly heard and understood. My journey to therapy At a young age, a close friend committed suicide. He showed signs, but I missed them. This motivated me to understand psychology better so I could help others. This journey led me to become an LCSW on a quest to support those struggling mentally and emotionally. My goals for you My goal is for you to gain clarity on your desired therapy outcomes. I will guide you to create or improve healthy thinking and behavior habits that minimize symptoms you may be experiencing.
