I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. I received my Master's in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University and have been practicing for over 28 years. I work with individuals and couples. My specialties include anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, relationships, spiritual concerns, and trauma.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I emphasize well-being through the selection of healthy lifestyle choices, while encouraging wholeness through a balance of spirituality and psychology. I specialize in anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, grief and conflict management. CBT, DBT and/or Solution Focused strategies are my preferred modalities incorporated from a person centered perspective.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Often taking the first step can be intimidating. It is understandable that you are somewhat hesitant. If you have been trying to resolve an issue on your own for a while and it feels like you are spinning your wheels make a different choice. Initially we discuss your concerns, strengths and goals for therapy. I suggest assessments to provide an initial basis for the development of a plan of action.
