Getting to know Ebony Dowdell Peterson

Feeling stressed, experiencing depression, and anxiety can be an isolating experience. Feelings such as grief and loss, frustration, and hopelessness can complicate all aspects of one's life. Navigating these specific challenges is overwhelming, and answers can be hard to find. You are not alone. You do not have to suffer in silence. You can get through this with help. Although I treat individuals with many challenges, I am also a Perinatal Mental Health Certified Provider. I treat women struggling with fertility challenges, anxiety and/or depression during pregnancy and postpartum, as well as pregnancy loss and stillbirth. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University, which has equipped me to provide compassionate, informed care tailored to your unique needs.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You want to feel like yourself again, you want to establish some balance and routine in your life. I will work with you through your journey of self-exploration, healing, and your ability to implement coping strategies, and achieve and realistic life goals. I will honor your voice, your understanding of your process. Finding the right fit in a therapist is essential.
