“I really appreciated how Ed helped me reframe my self-talk to be more compassionate. I felt I had a really strong advocate in my corner at a time I was dealing with challenging family dynamics. Our sessions felt like talks with a wise friend, including some laughs and plenty of space for having some big feelings. When I felt ready to push harder on my problems, I switched to a provider who uses a more concrete modality/ structure, but Ed was an excellent person to give me momentum at the start.”

I like the fact that he allows me to vent my feelings, he evaluates them and gives me suggestions on what to do next
First session was great. I think I'll really respond to the philosophy Dr. Bonner described.
He is very helpful with advice. With his warm personality it’s easy to talk to him with a problem
I have really enjoyed working with Ed so far. I feel like I’ve discovered a lot about myself.
Ed was very good at therapy but I needed someone who was more compassionate.
I really appreciated how Ed helped me reframe my self-talk to be more compassionate. I felt I had a really strong advocate in my corner at a time I was dealing with challenging family dynamics. Our sessions felt like talks with a wise friend, including some laughs and plenty of space for having some big feelings. When I felt ready to push harder on my problems, I switched to a provider who uses a more concrete modality/ structure, but Ed was an excellent person to give me momentum at the start.
I feel like he is blunt at least he was today. I felt like a child being yelled at by my Dad but maybe I needed that. His only criticism comment was “then act like it!” I’m striving to be the person I was before I left my life go south. It made me think and realize how easy it was to change my actions. And also makes me wander why I have difficulty moving on. That’s my next question for him. Why am I so attached to this thing that’s so bad for me?
And gives me such great insight and I trust him we have very similar backgrounds. It seems like and we’ve gone through a similar things.
Understanding, and encouraging.
Ed is a wonderful - professional, intelligent, present - therapist. He has so much knowledge from years of working with a wide range of people, and is great at offering evidence-based insights. His relationship advice is grounded in reality and really helpful. Highly recommend getting to know Ed and letting him help you through hard stuff.
