Within therapy, Ed helps clients discover their strengths, and together they navigate the difficult doors that impede development and progress. Although trained in several therapeutic models, Ed takes a holistic approach, developing a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and rapport. Ed is skilled in providing psychotherapy and psychoeducation, working to help each person feel comfortable and accepted. He earned his PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Ponce Health Sciences University in Puerto Rico. Over the years, Ed has worked with children and adults in community and outpatient settings. He has supported individuals dealing with acculturation, relocating from overseas, depression, suicidal ideation, self-harm behaviors, anxiety, health psychology, the loss of a loved one, and more.
