Hi there, I'm Edlord! My name is Edlord Posadas, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) licensed in the State of California, LMFT #144220. I am comfortable when clients call me by my nickname, Eddie Posadas. I have been practicing as a therapist since 2017 and have experience working with clients who have experienced various levels of trauma. My approach Grounded in humanistic, existential, and systemic approaches, I facilitate psychoeducation to shed light on how trauma impacts both the body and mind. My therapeutic approach is structured around a comprehensive four-phase model—establishing trust and rapport, delivering psychoeducation, fostering self-regulation skills, and processing traumatic memories—creating a secure holding space for clients to engage in their healing process. My focus Supporting individuals as they navigate their personal traumas is a cause I am deeply dedicated to. My career in mental health has involved working with individuals in treatment facilities, survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking, and members of the LGBTQI++ community. Additionally, I have developed a passion for assisting women and their families throughout the perinatal and postpartum period. I believe that people's experiences shape their perception of the world; however, they can also learn how to become stronger through their difficulties. My journey to mental healthcare I am an Air Force veteran with a passion for helping others. I was born in the Philippines but raised in Maryland. After graduating from high school, I made the decision to serve in the United States Air Force.
