Getting to know Eden Costa
My name is Eden, and I am a licensed mental health counselor with a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Florida International University, where I also earned my Bachelor's degree. I have practiced in the mental health field for over 3 years, working with clients both in crisis and in outpatient settings. My experience includes individual, group, and family therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. I have supported clients coping with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, I have worked with children and adolescents facing adjustment disorders, behavioral issues, and divorce, as well as adults dealing with relationship and marital challenges. I use a variety of modalities to personalize therapy to each client's needs.
I understand how difficult seeking treatment can be. My goal is to make your goals achievable and help you become the best version of yourself. You do not have to do this alone-let's work together on this journey!
What should a new client know about working with you?
Our sessions together will be evolving. Each session we will assess you and identify/review your goals. We will work together to identify what practices are working and areas for improvement. We will work together to help you achieve your goals.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
