Life has its ups and downs. Sometimes we need a little support as we work through the downs of life. We may be tired of living with a certain feeling. We might be working through a life transition, wanting to process and let go of old pain, or seeking tools to cope with and change current emotions and develop a healthier lifestyle. Whatever it may be, I am here by your side. My name is Edith Kuet, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in California. I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Long Beach. I have experience working with a wide range of populations and settings, including individuals working through trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also work with children and transitional-aged youth, couples facing relationship challenges, individuals dealing with heartbreak, and adults addressing issues related to domestic violence. I am a direct yet warm and compassionate therapist who will work side-by-side with you to identify your therapeutic goals and achieve them. I believe you have the innate strength and ability to work through your challenges and will provide a safe environment where we can explore your thoughts and feelings, increase coping skills, insight, and overall happiness. I believe our present issues are often informed by conflict or trauma from our past, and I will work with you to gain awareness, process, and heal through these conflicts and traumas. I look forward to working alongside you.
