By making the decision to connect with a therapist, you’ve already taken the biggest step in your journey to heal and grow. Whether it’s processing what you’re going through or simply being a listening ear if that’s what you need, I am here to support you. What’s important is that you feel comfortable and safe to meet with me and share yourself with me as your therapist. My ideal goal is to be able to give you guidance on the issues you’re working on, whether that’s navigating relationships, your emotions, or difficult situations that you’ve come across. I will strive for you to feel seen, heard, understood, validated, and supported. Through our sessions, we can take the time needed to reflect, find new insights, and access certain feelings and tools that could help you move forward and overcome these obstacles. Some of my experience includes working with adults in a substance use and mental health program where I provided individual and group therapy that addressed a spectrum of mental health challenges, such as low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and trauma, to name a few. I also have experience working with older adults who, in addition to mental health challenges, are facing a myriad of life challenges, including aging, loneliness, and loss. Through all of my interactions, I utilize Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed care to provide the necessary support that my clients need and deserve.
