Getting to know Elaine Maher

I graduated with my MSW in 2000 and have been licensed as an LCSW since 2004. I practiced as a LCSW civilian for the Army and the VA for over 17 years and with that experience I have treated trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, adjustments and transitional care. I have been in private practice for four years and trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, mind/body connections such as tapping and Mindfulness and acceptance and commitment therapy. I desire to support those who are in the process and journey of grief. I have training in Compassionate Bereavement. I am able to support those who feel loss in their lives, whether it is from death, divorce, job loss and transitions. My hobbies include short hikes, yoga, weightlifting, meditation and continued growth from lifelong learning.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim.
