As a therapist in both Virginia and North Carolina, I obtained my bachelor's degree in psychology from UNC Chapel Hill and master's in social work from East Carolina University. I use a client-centered, strengths-based approach to help each person realize and reach their own, individual goals. I am trained in ACT, CBT, DBT, and hold an additional certification in oncology social work. I specialize in working with adults impacted by illness, struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, and difficult life transitions.
