Getting to know Elana Cirulnick

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s challenges. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida and my Master’s in Social Work from the University of South Florida. My professional background is broad and diverse, including individual counseling, employee assistance mental health programming, and crisis intervention during natural disasters. This range of experience allows me to meet clients where they are and tailor therapy to their unique needs. In addition to my professional training, I bring personal insight as a special-needs parent, giving me a deep understanding of what it means to walk a “unique” parenting path. Through my own sobriety path I have studied mindfulness practices and body-centered approaches, which I thoughtfully integrate into therapy when appropriate. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in both evidence-based practices and lived experience. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes at their own pace. I currently provide therapy to clients in Florida. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cooking, staying active, and spending time with my family and our four rescue dogs.
