I am an independent social worker with over 25 years of experience in the area of social work. This experience is with children, teens and adults. I am specifically trained in trauma and forensics. I am proud of you for taking this step and I understand that change is difficult and I encourage both self-care and giving yourself grace.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am an experienced therapist providing a wide range of mental health treatment and support. I am able to use many evidenced based therapies to ensure that you have personalized care. I focus on meeting you where you are in your journey, with out judgment and will work beside you to meet your goals.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The initial session will be mostly fact gathering and getting to know each other in order to complete the initial assessment and ideas for treatment plan goals. After the first session we will work on creating a therapeutic connection and starting with developing coping skills. I will educate you in each intervention used and accept feedback about the effectiveness of treatment.
