Elena Simonoff is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Baruch College. Throughout her years in the private practice, clinical, and school settings, she has gained experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. She is formally trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) with an emphasis on adolescents and families, as well as in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Play Therapy. She also incorporates strength-based, and solution-focused therapy into her work. She believes in working with the entire system as a whole, whether it be the family system, or with community supports. She strongly believes in a collaborative therapeutic approach and a strong therapist-client connection to foster healing and growth.

*Only seeing clients with a NY residential address since I am a NY licensed clinician. *Please note, your appointment will not be confirmed until you complete the intake forms that will be emailed to you. My clients have described me as attentive, warm, knowledgeable, empathetic, and easy to open up to. I strongly believe in the therapist-client connection to foster growth and healing. I am dedicated to enhancing your ability to cope with the multiple stressors that life offers and help you build a stronger sense of self.

I am dedicated to providing a non-judgmental and safe environment to promote growth and healing.
