What should a new client know about working with you?

New patients often tell me they feel comfortable with me quickly — and I take that to heart. I show up with warmth, curiosity, and genuine care. When we work together, you can expect a therapist who listens closely, respects your pace, and makes room for all parts of your emotional experience, including the ones that feel confusing, vulnerable, or hard to put into words. Therapy, to me, is a collaborative partnership. I welcome your questions, your cultural background, your values, and your lived experiences. Together, we explore what you are carrying, what feels overwhelming, and what feels hopeful. My intention is to help you feel seen, grounded, and supported as you make sense of your experiences and move toward the life you want. You do not need to prepare anything or have everything figured out. Just bring yourself. I meet you exactly where you are, without judgment, and walk alongside you as you build clarity, emotional strength, and meaningful change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process is structured, thoughtful, and tailored to your individual needs. In our first session, we take time to understand what brings you in, what you are hoping for, and the life experiences that shape your current stress or emotional challenges. I gather information gently and collaboratively so we can identify your goals together. From there, our work follows a clear and steady rhythm based on what feels safe and meaningful for you. We may explore behavioral or relational patterns, process past experiences, strengthen coping skills, or work with mind-body strategies. When clinically appropriate, I integrate EMDR, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based techniques — and I always explain why a particular approach may help. Throughout therapy, I check in with you regularly to make sure our work continues to feel aligned, supportive, and relevant. Your goals guide our sessions, and as you grow, we adjust our focus to match your evolving needs. Whether we are navigating trauma, addressing relationship concerns, healing burnout, or developing emotional resilience, my hope is that you leave each session feeling supported, understood, and more connected to yourself.
