I'm Elise Froistad, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), with a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. Want better relationships and a better life? That's my hope for you—an enjoyable experience while working to make the changes in your life that will lead to better relationships and a better life. I have the life and work experience to help you move forward. I've seen and heard a lot in my 25-plus years in the field. I've worked with a diverse population throughout my career. I've become known as an expert at the community, county, and state levels, as well as for my work internationally. I will use my expertise to work with you. In 2008, I was honored to be recognized by the Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who appointed me to serve on The Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS). I served California consumers through the regulation of four different mental health licenses. It was a privilege to serve the Governor, Californians, and this profession in this important role. I have also served on several committees through Orange County Children and Family Services to improve the care and services provided to those in need. I work with laypeople around the world, educating them about trauma and its impact, and teaching skills to help those who have experienced traumatic events so they can move forward in their lives. My hope is to use my education, experiences, and opportunities to not only help you but also those around the world. I am passionate about helping people experience more out of life and their relationships and will invest my time and efforts on your behalf to help you reach your goals. I look forward to working with you.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
