Getting to know Elise Palumbo

As a psychotherapist, I strive to create a trusting space for you to uncover your story. Together, we will be curious about your thoughts, feelings, relationships, and history aiming to shed light on experiences that may have been challenging. By building self-knowledge, we will take a careful look at patterns that emerge within your life and work through some that may not serve you. Primarily working with individuals who have experienced some form of grief and loss, I value meaning-making, working through existential distress and anxieties, and finding comfort throughout this difficult and meaningful process. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan, primarily addressing anxiety, depression, grief, loss, bereavement, OCD, challenging family dynamics, trauma, and life transitions. I maintain a relational approach while also attuning to how systemic oppression affects people’s lives and communities. We all experience grief throughout our lives; whether you are experiencing an acute loss or would like to process feelings of that past, I am here to help you navigate these experiences in an insightful and caring way. I invite you to partner with me and uncover why therapy feels right at this time.
