Hello! My name is Elisha (she/they) and I am a Licenced Professional Clinical Counselor and registered dance/movement therapist in California. I believe seeking support through therapy is a valuable tool that can lead us to a place of deepened self-understanding, greater self-compassion, connection, and peace. I have experience working with adolescents 10yo+, young adults, and adults who are navigating a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, grief and loss, relational challenges, life transitions, eating disorders, Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and other neurodivergence or disabilities. My style is rooted in a somatic, person-centered, and integrative approach. I enjoy collaborating with my clients on their goals and value cultivating a safe space for them to feel seen, heard, and validated. I feel a deep responsibility to provide culturally informed care and do my best to become educated on my client’s diverse backgrounds and intersecting identities. In my sessions, I pull from a number of evidence-based modalities, including acceptance and commitment therapy, expressive arts therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamics, and motivational interviewing, drawing from my background as both a licensed counselor and expressive arts and movement therapist. Our work together will incorporate learning how survival-based responses shape your experiences and relationships and how to unravel these patterns to foster new, authentic, and compassionate ways of being. I believe healing happens through connection and I strive to create a space that feels grounded, engaged, accepting, and sometimes even humorous. I am looking forward to working with you and witnessing your journey.
