Getting to know Eliza Delaney
As a Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southwestern College, I work with clients of all ages and stages of life. I take a client-centered approach, tailoring therapy to each individual’s preferences—whether that’s talk therapy, art therapy, or a combination of both. Most of my experience involves supporting clients struggling with anxiety, depression, attachment issues, family conflict, trauma, and abuse or neglect. I strive to create a safe space where trust can grow and clients feel empowered to foster their own healing and self-growth. Therapy has been a healing journey in my own life, and I am passionate about providing that same support to others facing mental health challenges.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and includes trauma-informed care, Art Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Intensive Trauma Resolution (ITR) when working with adults. For children and teens, I use a combination of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Play Therapy, Sand Tray therapy, and Art Therapy techniques.
I currently provide in-person therapy in Santa Fe, NM, and offer remote services to children, teens, and adults in both Utah and New Mexico.
