To do this, I value authenticity, openness, and cultural awareness with each of my clients. I approach therapy by integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered therapeutic techniques while focusing on creating meaning. I have experience treating clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, addiction, life transitions, grief and loss, self-esteem, stress management, and building coping skills. I also have experience working in substance use treatment, which has equipped me with skills in short-term solution-based therapy, skill building, and stress tolerance. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor. I earned my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where I concentrated in the treatment of Substance Use Disorders. I also hold a Bachelor's degree from Benedictine University.
