Getting to know Elizabeth Benullo

Welcome! My name is Liz, and I have 11 years of mental health experience. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Temple University. Whether this is your first-ever therapy session or you’ve had a few in the past, I’m here to make mental wellness approachable and help you become your best self. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, grief and loss, and trauma, working with individuals aged 16 to older adults. I take an individualized approach to therapy, tailored to each client’s presenting symptoms and experiences. If you are experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, or COVID fatigue, you can feel better. Let me help you take back control of your life—schedule an intake session today.

What should a new client know about working with you?

During our first meeting, I'll let you talk about the things that are getting in the way of you being your best self. We will talk about your expectations for therapy and things you want to work on. Moving forward beyond our first meeting, we will talk about things happening presently in your life day to day that are stress inducing or upsetting. We will work together to connect things that happened in the past to your ability to handle things in the present and work through empirically based strategies to reduce distress. We will discuss and practice coping skills in session, leaving you with tangible strategies to use for mood regulation between sessions.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
