Getting to know Elizabeth Damian

I am a therapist who helps adults navigate relationship challenges, anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, boundaries, and life transitions. My approach is warm, direct, practical, and emotionally attuned. I strive to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported without judgment. I believe therapy should feel both compassionate and empowering, helping clients build insight while developing real tools for lasting change. Session Information (Self-Pay Rates) • Therapy Evaluation: $180 (60 minutes) • Therapy Follow-Up: $160 (60 minutes) These rates apply to self-pay patients. If you are using insurance, the cost of services will be determined by your insurance plan based on your specific benefits, copay, coinsurance, or deductible.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients should know that I balance warmth with honest reflection and accountability. I work especially well with adults and women who are navigating relationship stress, overfunctioning anxiety, boundary struggles, trauma, parenting stress, or major life transitions. I also bring personal and professional understanding of parenting, special needs advocacy, IEPs, and 504 support. My goal is to help clients feel grounded, confident, and more connected to themselves and their relationships.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start by learning what brings the client to therapy, what feels most difficult right now, and what they want to change. We work together to identify emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, stressors, and behaviors that may be creating distress. Sessions often include emotional processing, practical coping tools, boundary work, and support with communication and self-confidence. The process is collaborative, supportive, and focused on meaningful progress.
