Hello, I'm Elizabeth, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with over 14 years of experience as a school counselor and four years of experience supporting individuals outside of the school setting. My journey has allowed me to work with various age groups in schools and through my church, where I provided individual sessions and led groups for single parents and blended families. Additionally, I have experience offering virtual counseling to clients facing a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, family and relationship issues, parenting challenges, and the unique circumstances of blending families. I have also supported individuals who have experienced trauma in many forms, including abuse, the loss of a loved one, and abandonment issues. My therapy approach is client-centered and non-judgmental. I believe there is a root cause for every behavior or emotion, and I am passionate about helping my clients find that cause and work through it. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, family systems, and trauma-informed counseling.
